Subjective Match is a reflective practice platform designed to help athletes better understand their performances, develop self-awareness, and support their personal growth through structured reflection and AI-assisted insights. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your personal information. When you create an account and use Subjective Match, we may collect the following information. Account Information Name Email address Password (securely managed through Supabase Authentication) Preferred language Primary sport Reflection Data Information that you voluntarily choose to record, including: Training reflections Competition reflections Reflection answers Performance ratings Feelings Personal stories and notes AI-Generated Content When you use AI-powered features, we may generate and store: AI Mirrors Chapters Future AI-generated reflection summaries and insights Technical Information We may collect limited technical information required to operate and secure the platform, including authentication and basic account activity.
Subjective Match does not collect: Your precise location Your contacts Camera access Microphone recordings Health sensor data Payment information (at this stage) We only collect information that is necessary to provide the service.
We use your information to: Create and manage your account Store your reflections securely Generate your personal AI Mirror Generate reflective Chapters and future AI features Personalise your experience Maintain the security, reliability and functionality of Subjective Match We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your reflections for advertising. We do not share your personal reflections with third parties for marketing purposes.
Subjective Match uses Artificial Intelligence to help athletes reflect on their experiences. Some of the reflection content you choose to write is securely processed by OpenAI solely for the purpose of generating your personal AI Mirror and other AI-powered reflective features within Subjective Match. AI-generated content is intended to support reflection, learning and self-awareness. It is not intended to replace professional coaching, psychological support, medical advice, or clinical judgement.
By default, your reflections are private. Only you can access your reflections, AI Mirrors and Chapters. Subjective Match administrators may access limited account information only when necessary to maintain the service, investigate technical issues, or comply with legal obligations. Your reflections are never shared with other athletes. Coaches cannot access your reflections unless you explicitly choose to share them through future sharing features. Your personal reflections always belong to you.
Your information is stored for as long as your Subjective Match account remains active. If you choose to delete your account, your personal data—including your profile, reflections, AI Mirrors and Chapters—will be permanently removed from Subjective Match, subject only to any technical processes required to complete the deletion.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. These include: Secure user authentication Encrypted communication (HTTPS) User-specific database access controls Modern cloud infrastructure Access restricted to authorised users While we work hard to protect your information, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Subjective Match may be used by athletes under the age of 18 where permitted by applicable law. Where parental or legal guardian consent is required, it must be obtained before an account is created or used. Coaches, clubs, schools and sporting organisations using Subjective Match are responsible for ensuring that any required parental or guardian consent has been obtained before inviting or registering young athletes. Subjective Match does not knowingly collect or process personal information from children in violation of applicable data protection laws. If we become aware that personal information has been collected without the necessary consent, we will take reasonable steps to remove that information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users within the application. Your continued use of Subjective Match after any updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
